Welcome

I am a local photographer based in the scenic South Wales valleys, driven by deep love for the art of photography. I came late to the world of photography and the start of my photographic journey began in 2010 when I received my first 'real' camera as a Christmas gift.  Since then, I've been honing my skills and developing my perspective. While I don’t specialize in one particular genre, my creativity shines through in my work, sometimes inspired by the breathtaking landscapes that surround me. My first camera was a beginner-friendly Sony A55, and I have stayed loyal to the Sony brand.  My current camera is the Sony A6600, packed with impressive capabilities. In November 2018, I earned my AWPF Accreditation (Associateship of the Welsh Photographic Federation), which you can view in my portfolio.  A few years later I was invited by the WPF to be a mentor for new candidates looking to undertake the accreditation and so far, I have mentored three people through to their AWPF success. As the Chair and Competition Secretary of the Abergavenny Camera Club, I've been a dedicated member for 15 years.
